What is Acetyl L-Carnitine?
One of the most commonly used ingredients in dietary supplements is Acetyl-L-carnitine.
Acetyl-L-carnitine is a dietary supplement used to improve memory, such as in Alzheimer's disease. Acetyl-L-carnitine may also improve depression. Other uses for acetyl-L-carnitine include the treatment of Parkinson's disease, stroke, and Peyronie's disease. Its thought to have anti-aging properties as well.
Acetyl-L-carnitine is known by other names which include: acetyl-levocarnitine, acetylcarnitine, l-acetylcarnitine, levacecarnine, and ST-200.

Side Effects and Warnings of Acetyl L-Carnitine
