Astragalus

What is Astragalus?

Astragalus is an herbaceous perennial plant of the pea family and is most commonly used for immune enhancement. Most astragalus research has focused on its immune stimulating activity and its seemingly remarkable ability to restore the activity of a suppressed immune system.

It is also known as Astragalus membranaceus, Huang Qi, Beg Kei, Buck Qi, Huang Chi, Milk Vetch, and Yellow Leader
