The Diary - August 2007
EUROPA SUPER SHOW - August 10th-11th
Miracles for Men headed to Arlington, Texas for the IFBB sponsored Europa Super Show. It was at first a bit disappointing to find that some of the big names such as Branch Warren and Darrem Charles would not be competing but that was as bad as it got.
It did not take long for the competition to heat up as we watched in awe at the new talent that was on offer. The open class had 29 competitors but Silvio Samuel was heads over heals above everyone else. He looked to have greatly improved on his weakest points which were his waist and shoulders.
Surely we can expect more from him in the Mr. Olympia contest.
US Open - 27th August to 9th September
After the Europa show we decided to head into New York City for the annual US Open tennis championship. Held at Flushing Meadows, we were amongst those who wanted to see just how good Roger Federer was compared to his peers.
He did not disappoint. He walked past the other competitors and his 4th consecutive US Open win and his 12th Grand Slam just proved that he is yet to have any serious challenger.
The good thing about tennis is that there is always a challenger sooner or later and watching Novak Dokovic and Rafael Nadal, Miracles for Men ventures that soon he will face stiff competition.
Kindest Regards
The Miracles For Men Team
