From Cigarettes To Fresh Air

Email To a Friend 07 June 2009 I can’t remember a time in the past ten years that I have had a fag in my hand. I loved smoking despite health reports, my fiancé’s discontent and my friends nagging. I never thought I would stop smoking cigarettes and had been smoking two packs a day since I was 18 years old. After receiving an ultimatum from my fiancé, I tried to make an effort to quit. I’ve tried patches and gum with no success. I researched other forms of therapies that would help me to quit..

As a result, I went to hypnotherapies and even tried homeopathic alternatives and lozenges. I just couldn’t get past the cravings until I struck up a conversation with a former smoker that was waiting behind me, on line at the market. I was buying a pack of fags along with gum and she recommended laser treatment that she had six months prior. She gave me the number and told me how great of an investment this treatment would be for me. I knew smoking cigarettes was a disgusting habit to have when people around me would make faces and distance themselves from me in public places.

This was the only option I had left before I lost my future Wife to be. I really loved her and didn’t want her to leave me, so I booked an appointment at the Local clinic. Their prices were quite reasonable. I asked her to come with me because I was scared of how different my life would be without a habit that I carried with me for most of my adult life. She was with me every step of the way. The procedure was quick and painless. To my surprise, I haven’t had a craving since and life is more enjoyable. I notice the difference in my breathing and my stamina at the gym. My fiancé even accepted my proposal nine months later.

I am extremely satisfied with my life now and my friends are happy to be around me without my cigarette smoke. They now come regularly and have even offered to help plan my wedding to my wonderful Wife. Life couldn’t be better!
