The Diary - December 2007
It has been another great sporting year at Miracles for Men. We wish to thank all the organizations that we associated with in this year and promise to give our continuing support.
At Miracles for Men, we pride ourselves at being at the forefront of Men’s health issues. Through our participation and sponsorships, we are glad that our members can enjoy a better lifestyle even when it looks very hard.
Looking at the past year, we have participated in nearly all the sports that encourage discipline and endurance. We then noticed that we had missed out on one sport. Boxing!
Sure there are those that say that boxing is not a sport, but when you look at the training that a boxer has to go through in order to succeed, you will know that boxing is really a sport.
To end the year on a quiet note, we decided to book ourselves a flight to Las Vegas, Nevada to watch one of the best fighters in the world. Floyd Mayweather Jr. is probably one of the few remaining boxers who can claim to be undefeated.
On December 8th, 2007, Miracles for Men watched as Mayweather defeated Ricky Hatton for the WBC Welterweight championship. Though it was a well fought bout, Hatton was knocked out in the tenth round giving Mayweather bragging rights as “undefeated”. Unlucky Ricky, I'm sure the re-match will be a closer affair with a proper referee!
It was a great year, 2007 and we know with the Olympics coming in August 2008, Miracles for Men will be there for you.
Kindest Regards
The Miracles For Men Team
