The Diary - December 2008

Miracles for Men in ending the year continued to support and participate in both sporting and men's health issues.

On Friday, December 12, 2008, we attended the CancerCare Connect telephone workshop. It was a free phone call to the workshop and all you had to do was register at www.cancercare.org

Some of the topics discussed during the teleconference included:

• Taking on the Role of Caregiver
• Caring for the Person with Cancer
• Coping with Holidays, Special Occasions and Birthdays
• Managing Families, Friends, Partners and Traditions
• Long-Distance Caregiving
• Tips for taking Care of Yourself

At the end of the workshop we were privileged to receive answers to our questions from the select panel of experts. We hope to bring some of what we learned to our site members in the course of the year.

2008 NPC Excalibur Bodybuilding and Figure Championships

Miracles for Men just had to send our representative to the NPC Excalibur bodybuilding and figure championships held in California.

We support both professional and amateur bodybuilding events with this being one of our favorites. It was a pleasure to see some of the winners such as Kevin Tomasini and Mavi Giola. Up coming star Danny Nichols was a pleasure to watch too.

2008 FIFA Club World Cup - 11 December to 21 December 2008

The FIFA club world cup is slowly becoming a very popular tournament for us at Miracles for Men. The football club champions from the continents are drawn to vie for the best club in the world.

It was with pride that we watched as Manchester United defeated LDU Quito 1-0 in Yokohama to become the first British team to win the competition.

Miracles for Men can not wait for more football glory in 2009.
