Hesperidin
What is Hesperidin?Hesperidin is a water-soluble citrus bioflavonoid found in oranges and lemons. It is highly concentrated in pulp-rich fruit juices.
Hesperidin and a flavonne glycoside diosmin are used to treat venous insufficiency and haemorrhoids. Hesperidin, rutin, and others are thought to be helpful in reducing capillary permeability. It may also have anti-inflammatory effects as well. These are known as Vitamin P.
Hesperidin may also treat vascular disorders in humans, treat cancer, and some autoimmune diseases. It might also be an anti-allergen and anti-inflammatory agent. This is based on experiments with animals.
Hesperidin, along with other bioflavonoid, can improve capillary health and connective tissues. Due to this, it has been stated that it can help with bruising, varicose veins, and fragile capillaries. It also has the ability to help and get rid of hay fever and other similar allergies.
Side Effects and Warnings of Hesperidin
There are some side effects and warnings to consider if you plan on using Hesperidin. One of the important things to note is that research suggests that hesperidin may inhibit cellular vitamin C uptake.
