The Diary - November 2007
It has been a long year and it is hard to believe that we are only one month off the start of a brand new year. We are very glad at Miracles for Men to support any endeavor that encourages the promotion of Men’s health issues. For a long time, men have been taking their health for granted and have suffered the consequences. Miracles for Men was established with a goal of reversing this trend.
Davis Cup Tennis - November 30th to December 2nd
Miracles for Men took a trip to the Memorial Coliseum in Portland, Oregon to participate in the 96th edition of the Davis cup tournament. The Davis Cup offers probably the purest form of tennis as competitors participate more for glory and the love of the game than mere financial rewards.
That is one of the reasons that the Davis cup has a knack of producing winners not from the top ranked players in the world but from dedicated players who just love the sport.
This year, Miracles for Men were present as the United States beat Russia in the final 4-1. We have to say that the most entertaining game for us was the second match between James Blake and Mikhail Youzhny.
New York City Marathon - November 4th
Miracles for Men were not about to miss the first in the 2006-2007 World Marathon Majors. We have an affinity to the marathon as we believe it is the ultimate in endurance training. If you can finish the marathon, we believe you are on your way to a very healthy lifestyle.
This year, the Kenyans continued with their domination of Marathon running. It was a pleasure to be at hand as Martin Lel from Kenya won the men’s race and completed a rare London and New York marathon double.
Kindest Regards
The Miracles For Men Team
